Vintage Tognana 2 Demitasse Set Italy Maison Faguais Restaurant Ware

This set of cups and saucers is the real deal. It has traveled from Paris to New York, stashed in luggage.
These heavy-gauge restaurant ware items were not intended to be given away after you purchased an espresso. They were to be placed back on the tray to be washed and reused.

Each demitasse holds about 2 ounces. The 2-inch wide cups rest on 4.5-inch saucers, on the bottom of which is the "Maison Faguais" logo. You may already recognize the bar scene on the cup, transferred in dark green under the final glaze. Tognana craftsmanship is so impeccable you can groom yourself in the smooth glaze. The Tognana stamp is in relief on the bpottom of the cup and imprinted on the bottom of the saucer.
