Salvatore Espresso Semi-Automatic Single Boiler Espresso Machine with Custom Grinder. Condition is "Used".
I am the original owner.  I bought the machine and custom, Salvatore signature, commercial grade grinder in 2003 directly from Salvatore in Solvang, 07 (have invoice).  In 2011 I dropped the machine while moving it (it's heavy, 50lbs!) bending the front plate with the knobs & gauge.  I sent it back to Salvatore for repairs.  Repair he did... I have the itemized invoice: 4, making the machine virtually like new.  8 or 9 years ago I started using it less and less due to becoming caffeine intolerant .  About 4 years ago I was told to lay off the caffeine entirely.  Very annoying!  At this point my daughter and her family aren't interested in these beauties so time to finally let go and pass them on.
If you aren't familiar with Salvatore's work check out his website, Salvatore Espresso Systems.  He is an amazing boutique builder.  His machines are first class, hand crafted pro-sumer/commercial quality.   Do some searching and you'll find no lack of stellar reviews/accolades.
I have always taken care to regularly back flush, de-scale the boiler and clean the steam wand, etc.  Same with the grinder by regularly cleaning out bean residue build up.  The grinder has and still works exactly as you would expect.
If you buy and are not familiar with the espresso making process and/or just starting out be sure to read the manuals.  Very useful!!! The grinder is currently at the most coarse setting. You will need to experiment to find the setting you like best.  Manuals are included for the grinder as well as the espresso machine.  There are cleaning essentials, etc., included.
FYI
: I included pics of the rubber piping on top of both sides at the front of the machine. It's no longer fitting quite properly  I couldn't work out a way to re-fit it.  So it goes.  At some point the rubber gasket in the brew head will need replacing. If you're pretty handy it's not a big deal.  It's fine now. The basket part of the handle has twisted a little off center after a great many uses.  It still works fine.
