The Appia Life semi-automatic is the basic model of the Appia Life series. This machine is more than capable of delivering high quality espresso, especially at the hands of a well-trained barista. The barista is in complete control of the machine during the extraction processes requiring them to both start and end each shot.
The Appia Life semi-automatic espresso machine also features Nuova Simonelli’s Soft-Infusion System (SIS), which delivers a small amount of water at a low pressure to pre-wet or pre-infuse the espresso before ramping up to the full 9 bars of pressure. This helps to ensure that the coffee is saturated evenly, leading to more precise and better espresso extractions.
