    Description

Lot of various press kit photos.  I have given as much description as I possibly could on each.  The backs of several of them were used to make schedules with at the theater.  I was able to show the back of one as an example.
Sheriff Of Las Vegas (Red Ryder) 1944 Publicity Press Photo 8x10 Glossy B&W -
No date on photo but is copyright Republic Pictures who released the movie in 1944.
No writing on back.  Has photo album adhesive on back.
    No pinholes.
Creasing in several spots on photo.
None are extreme except on right side.
Curved crease aprox 2.5 in which could be considered a “fold” possibly.
The Gift of Love Original Press Publicity Press Photo B&W Glossy 1958 -
Scene of Lauren Bacall and (I believe) Joseph Kearns talking.
    He has his hat off.
    Grid schedule written on back.
Photos is slightly browned with age.
1 pinhole bottom left corner in boarder and 1 in bottom right corner.
4 pinholes (2 on each side) aprox 1 in from edge and 2.5 in from top.
Chipping in gloss of photo in boarder on left side (2 times) aprox 1/16
    th
    of inch circular.
About Face – 1952 B&W 8x10 glossy still. - Grid schedule written on back.  Imprint of writing does show through with right light.  4 pinholes in all 4 corners.  Creasing in top right corner along edge of boarder.  Missing piece in top right corner aprox ¼ in x ¼ in.  Boarder only.  Missing piece bottom right corner aprox ½ in by ½ in.  Boarder only.  Tear on right side aprox ¼ in long 2.5 in from top.
    The French Connection – 1971 B&W 8x10 glossy still.
    -
Marcel Bozzuffi and Fernando Rey “wait for an accomplice by a pier in Brooklyn.”
    No pinholes.  Excellent condition.
The Illustrated Man – 1969 B&W 8x10 glossy production photo.
    -
Shows Rod Steiger laying on a bed while artists paint the “tattoos” on his body.
    Looks almost brand new.
Biggest flaw is if you look close, you can see intention where someone wrote on a piece of paper with the photo underneath it.
Rough Ridin’ Justice – 1945 B&W 8x10 glossy still. -  Scene of Charles Starrett holding a gun on other men.  1 pinhole in center 2.5 in from bottom.  Moderate creasing wear (from handling).  Stamped on back saying.  “237 44” with one about it being property of national screen service.  Stamp on top of that saying “Independent Poster Exch.”.
Fixed Bayonets! – 1951 B&W 8x10 glossy still. -  Scene of soldiers walking.  Grid schedule written on back.  Imprint of writing does appear on front.  Other than that, very little/minor creasing.  1 pinhole bottom right corner in boarder.  1 pinhole on top aprox 1.5 in from top and 4 in from right.  Also 1 pin hole on right side aprox ¾ in from right and 3 in from top.
