    Description

Found at a brocante (flea market) in northern France and salvaged from an old, torn down hotel, a large and heavy (1 lb. 2 oz.) thick white porcelain oval plaque long ago used as the room number on a hotel door. Circa early 1900s. Black painted number 8 and black paint around the two holes that attached the plaque to a thick wood door. Shows age and use; two chips on the edge that just add more charm and character to this item. Use in a display on a wall or attach to a door! Measures 7.75 inches by 6.25 inches. Slightly convex and thick porcelain.
Shipped insured within the USA only.
