We accept Paypal, Cash app, Apple pay, G pay, Cash (pick up only) and all major credit cards. eBay may collect tax according to your state and local laws.
All in person purchases will incur a tax according to local and/or state laws. An unpaid claim case will be initiated on eBay after an item goes unpaid for two (2) days.
Be sure to confirm your shipping address prior to checkout & payment. We do not allow changes to an address after payment.
We only ship to the confirmed address registered to your account and on the checked out order.

SHIPPING, PICK UP AND DELIVERY
SHIPPING
For commercial equipment freight shipping: it is always best to choose a commercial address for a speedy & safe delivery.
Certain residential areas are hard for big trucks to reach so there may be additional charges for handing off the shipment to a last mile carrier to make the final delivery which can end up delaying your shipment. We always recommend a commercial address for a better service.
Espresso Equipment Will be tested, calibrated, packaged & strapped to a pallet. Shipments are insured to assure they arrive safe and secure.
Since we test and calibrate everything for you prior to shipping, this will assure your items arrive ready to install.
Freight shipment includes lift gate service for 2 group espresso machines and higher. If you purchase a 1 Group and wish to add lift gate upon delivery you can do so by contacting us and we can arrange to add that service to your order.
Freight is delivered curbside and it is the responsibility of the buyer and/or receiver to be available upon delivery.
Before signing for your shipment all equipment must be inspected upon delivery for damages or missing parts.
If there happen to be missing parts or damages note them on the B.O.L, take photos, sign for it as "DAMAGED", refuse delivery and contact us as soon as possible.
After the initial inspection if you feel you need more time to inspect the item you may sign for it as "SUBJECT TO FURTHER INSPECTION".
If you require any additional services upon delivery like lift gate, appointment, protect from freeze, or inside delivery (contact us prior to purchase)
LOCAL PICK UP
​​​​​​​​​​​​You are welcome to collect your items from our Hillside, New Jersey warehouse. We ask for 1 business day’s notice before collecting so
we can ensure your items are ready & accessible. We have plenty of barista accessories, coffee, tea & equipment available in store so
​​​​​​​picking up from us will allow you to browse our entire range.
We are open Monday - Friday , 9am to 5pm
If you prefer to have your own freight company or shipper pick up from us, please kindly make contact via message to arrange the details.​​​​​​​
Terms & Condition
Delevery
We offer free shipping to the North Jersey area for machines or machine + grinder packages.
If you prefer to pick up at your local terminal in your state, that can be arranged by contacting us and setting up a "hold at terminal".
If no one is available to sign for the Shipment upon delivery the shipment will be returned to the terminal then to sender, any additional charges such as storage, re-delivery or other tax & fees are the responsibility of consignee.
​​​​​​​Kindly reach out to us before contacting the freight company. They will require our authorization to redeliver so touching base with us first is the best way to organize a redelivery.
We will update your tracking information the afternoon of dispatch or the following morning. If your tracking shows no results, you should try again in the ​​​​​​​morning as the portal is usually updated overnight.
​​​​​​​We are able to ship our items worldwide. We send our international purchases by freight which will ensure your ​order arrives quickly & safely.
As the price of international freight varies between locations, we ask that you request a freight quote from us before purchasing.
Our quotes for a freight cost to your location are for transport only. The cost does not include customs, duties and/or taxes applicable to your country. The cost does not include any storage charges you may be subject to if the freight is not cleared from customs promptly. We highly recommend checking with your local authorities as to what the duties/taxes will be prior to purchasing. ​​​​​​​Our international freight is not insured. Returns
WARRANTY & RETURNS
Most of our equipment comes with a warranty.
The warranty consists of:
Brand new espresso machines and Grinders to be used for both domestic & commercial applications come with a - 12 months parts warranty.
Accessories and any other equipment we sell only comes with a warranty as dictated by the manufacturer Electronic or glass parts do not have a warranty. ​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​What should I do if I am having difficulties with getting my product to work?
If you are experiencing problems operating your product, we strongly recommend that you contact us. It is our experience that often when customers believe the product they have purchased is faulty; it can usually be resolved with some basic ‘troubleshooting’.
What should I do if I have changed my mind and want to return a product?
Please choose carefully as we do not normally accept return of goods where you have simply changed your mind or have chosen poorly.
Should we decide to accept a return, a restocking fee of 30% + any credit card charges which we cannot recover is applied to all returns of items held in stock.
Special order items or items customized for you cannot be returned.
We cannot accept returns on new equipment that is now used equipment nor of equipment without packaging.
Return freight to us is payable by you.
Product Assessment for warranty repair.
Once proof of purchase has been established, if the product fault can safely and clearly be determined, we will offer you either a refund, exchange or repair.
The available remedy will depend on whether the fault amounts to a major failure. In some instances, we may need to consult with the manufacturer to determine the fault and resolution.
Most faults can be easily repaired within a reasonable time frame. We will not offer a repair or replacement if the product has been damaged by misuse or abuse.
Examples include but are not limited to inadequately filtered water, lime scaling, corrosion due to high chloride ion concentrations in water, operator errors, unprofessional installations, unauthorized repair work or modification and fair wear and tear.
Whist we understand that many clients would like a loan machine in the event of a warranty item, we regret that this service is not available.
We prioritize all warranty work over general repair to ensure the most rapid service possible. When assessing product fault, it is up to you whether you would prefer to deal with Vilar Imports or the manufacturer directly.
It may be more convenient for you to reach out to the manufacturer (which may be a more time efficient solution). You certainly have that option.
