Gemma is UL & NSF approved
, meaning that is complying with the authorities' requirements, therefore it can be used at any retail location. No other permits are necessary because the machine is electric, with 220V/60Hz Voltage, 3,2Kw/3200 Watts Power, and 13 Amperage (there's no increase in electricity cost: energy consumed per badge about $ 0.15 cents).
Gemma can consistently roast up to 4.5 pound of green beans per cycle, and over 100lbs. of retail-ready coffee per day. The machine is powerful, there is no waiting time between roasts.
Easy to use thanks to the main control panel that allows to select up to 10 different preset programmed type of roasting profiles, that can be run at different batch sizes, with consistent results (those preset profiles can be changed at any time based on your future needs and preferences).
The Gemma has a proprietary profile replication algorithm that will record and replicate pre-existing roast profiles, meaning that the same flavors can be produced time and time again without the need for an operator to stand over the roaster (this leads to a more efficient team and lower operational costs, as you will roasting while also serving customers).
You can also manually operate the machine while roasting, by changing the time, the temperature, curving time, etc and when you are satisfied with your roast you can save it, so anyone working with you can have the same profile results by just pushing a button.
No roasting experience necessary.
In regarding the maintenance, the only requirement is empty the chaff collector every 5-6 roasting cycles. If more than 100 lbs of coffee are roasted daily we recommend to run an empty cycle every few days.
Once the machine is purchased, we will be available 7 days per week to offer any kind of assistance you may need in regarding. If you need help in blending the coffee, we can do that for you at no cost. You will be able to develop custom blends to match your customers’ tastes and to roast [each coffee] exactly the way you want it. Furthermore, you can take the opportunity to package and sell roasted coffee as an additional income stream.
